Brookside Group Practice is an innovative, unique large 4 site practice working within the Primary Care Network, managing approximately 31,000 patients. Our team of around 130 people includes many allied health professionals, including a thriving health and wellbeing team dealing with most mental health aspects alongside doctors, physician associates and MIND services, MSK practitioner, pharmacists, paramedics, nurses, healthcare assistants, support, and administration staff. We have a strong emphasis on teamwork and are now looking to recruit for the following vacancies:

Salaried GP

Between 6-8 sessions

Salary – dependant on experience

Brookside Group Practice is an innovative, unique large 4 site practice with many allied health professionals, including a thriving health and wellbeing team dealing with most mental health aspects alongside our doctors, physician associates and MIND services, MSK practitioner, pharmacists, paramedics, nurses, healthcare assistants.

Key points to consider in being part of our team:

  • Strong team ethos – Practice supports social and sports events
  • 4 appointments per hour
  • No duty doctor- overflow each day managed by a shared team of GPs and AHPs
  • Innovative supervisory GP model for acute and routine care
  • Home visits largely conducted by paramedics
  • Regular teaching from external consultants and a doctors meeting protected as CPD with lunch provided

Other key aspects of the Practice include:

  • Use of Anima to aid triage/consultation
  • Strong IT and systems including Emis Web, Accu-Rx, DXS, Docman
  • Longstanding Training Practice with GP registrars, physician associate trainees and others
  • Opportunities for clinical leadership and development
  • Offer minor surgery appointments for our patients

Physician Associate

37 hours per week

Salary – £42,000-£45,000 depending on experience

This is an exciting opportunity for a Physician Associate wishing to develop their clinical and management experience in a fast moving practice in the heart if the community.
